New Roomies!
We got 10 new fishes today, 5 lemon tetras and 5 rosy tetras.
Letting the little ones acclimatize to the tank temperature. The other fishes were very curious. Swimming vigorously around the bag.
As you can see, they are fast little ones. They don't like their pictures taken much.
Our tank is really bare but we are planning to change it soon. Maybe a little more plants and more rocks or drift wood.

A Message of Thanks
We took a little trip to Calgary yesterday to meet a friend. She was such a great help that I wanted to say thanks with flowers. I wanted to get her some orange flowers since that was the colours for her wedding but I ended up with yellow and blue. I hope she likes them.
We also ended up in Banff too. I'm always awestruck with the beauty of the mountains. I was initially a bit disappointed cause the rain clouds didn't seem to be moving and they were covering the view. We drove there anyways and the clouds just thinned for a bit and the sun came out. I'll take it!

Peony Quilt
A little too warm for the summer months but the flowers are definitely welcoming. The minky backing was wonderful in the end but it was a pain to quilt together. When free motion quilting, the extra weight made it hard to move it freely. By 10 minutes, your upper arms had its fair share of a workout. I can't deny the loveliness of the minky fabric but maybe with something else would we great.
