New Spin on the Walk Down the Aisle

I was given the honour to arrange the flowers for a friend's wedding last weekend. The wedding was so beautiful. Beautiful weather, beautiful garden and beautiful people. I don't have any pics right now as I was up really late that night so I didn't feel I could take any decent pictures. So hopefully the bride will share some of her wedding pics for me.

Since then, I haven't been able to stop thinking about wedding flowers. Found some blogs by other florists and they posted a really cool YouTube video. It just reminds me that in the end of all the planning, stressing and fussing over flowers, a wedding is about having fun and making the best of that day for the happy couple. Enjoy everyone. Time For More Funnies

This week's funny flavor of the week is...RICK MERCER. Either watch him on CBC on Tuesdays or go to his site RickMercer.com. My favorite is to look through the photo challange that he has set up for all you fellow Canadians. You have to be a litte bit computer savy as you would have to cut and paste parts of photos to make one hilarious picture. The whole idea is to take any picture of your choice and attach the faces of your favorite politician(s) to it. Unfortunately I can not show you any of the pictures from his site. Be amazed of what talent lies in your local community.

What Are Your Plans For This Valentine's Day?

Three more days before the big V-Day. Have you made plans or are you a procrastinator and wait till the last minute? For our friends south of the border I may be of some assistance to your weekend plans.

Found this on Gigglesugar the other day and wonder what kind of specials they would offer at White Castle on V-day. (White Castle is a fast food joint known for their squarish hamburgers). I guess with the down turn of our economy you have to make due with what you got. If the romance doesn't stop your heart, at least you know the fat will. Don't judge ladies, it's the thought that counts.

Found this funny picture on the internet. I guess this is one way to reuse your Apple computer tower. I wonder if the front face plate pulls down so you can actually put mail inside.


For some of you youngens, Dennis the Menace was a cartoon about a boy named Dennis who wrecked havoc on his old neighbor Mr. George Wilson. It would be a shame if someone defaced the mailbox. It is such a novel idea. Don't you agree?
